Participation of the President of the Women Leadership Institute in the symposium held on women’s efforts in peacebuilding in accordance with Security Council Resolution 1325

At the invitation of the Kirkuk Governorate Diwan and UN Women, the head of the Women’s Leadership Institute, lawyer Iman Abdul Rahman, participated in a symposium held on women’s efforts in peacebuilding in accordance with Security Council Resolution 1325, as this resolution recognizes the vital role of women in all aspects of security and peace, and enhances the importance of their participation in decision-making processes.
The symposium witnessed a high-level presence from Kirkuk Governorate
It began with a speech from the Kirkuk Governorate Diwan

Then a speech by Ms. Intisar Karim Abdullah, Director of the Women, Family and Child Affairs Department at the Kirkuk Governorate Diwan
