Specialized workshop on money laundering and terrorist financing

Under the auspices of the NGO Department and in cooperation with the Women Leadership Institute, a specialized workshop was organized on money laundering and terrorist financing, financial reports, and administrative and legal procedures. The workshop was attended by many NGOs, reflecting the importance of cooperation between different parties to address challenges. The importance of this workshop comes from its being a platform for exchanging knowledge and experiences between the NGO Department and organizations, and enhancing their capabilities in dealing with money laundering and terrorist financing issues and important financial, administrative and legal issues. It also contributes to raising awareness about the procedures necessary to achieve transparency and accountability in financial work, which enhances the effectiveness of organizations in performing their tasks and enhances trust between society and stakeholders.
