The Women’s Empowerment Unit implemented a dialogue seminar on (The Role of Women in Security and Peace) in cooperation with the Women’s Leadership Institute
Where the role of women in security and peace was discussed from several important aspects. First, the importance of women’s participation in peace and negotiation processes was emphasized, as their presence can lead to more comprehensive and sustainable solutions. Second, the role of women in enhancing community security was highlighted, through work in areas such as awareness and building trust between communities. Third, the impact of social and economic changes on women’s empowerment in conflict-affected societies was addressed, and how they can contribute to building sustainable peace.
At the end of the seminar, a letter of thanks and appreciation was delivered to the Women’s Leadership Institute for its efforts in enhancing the role of women in society
